If you're coming from another firm
Switching firms feels like a hassle, but most of the work is ours, not yours. You make one decision; the rest goes like this:
You give notice
We take over
Work continues without interruption
The takeover takes one to two weeks depending on the state and costs nothing extra.
Book a free 30-minute conversationWhat the monthly work covers
Purchase and sales invoices are recorded, reconciled against the bank statement and matched to the right accounts. If something is missing or unclear, we ask straight away rather than at the end of the month.
For VAT-registered companies we prepare and file the VAT return with its annexes. Payroll covers salary calculation, taxes, the TSD return and keeping the employment register up to date.
- recording purchase and sales invoices and bank reconciliation
- VAT returns and annexes
- payroll, TSD returns and the employment register
- fixed asset register and depreciation
- preparing and filing the annual report
How the handover works
We start by reviewing the current bookkeeping: balances, the state of filed returns and whether the previous period is closed. Only then do we agree a handover date.
Handovers usually happen at a month end, when the period is complete. Data is received digitally and we set the software up ourselves. All you need to do is grant access and have one short conversation.
Who does the work
Every client has one dedicated accountant who knows the background of the company and who you can email or call directly. A named substitute covers holidays.
Everything runs online. No documents need to be delivered or posted: invoices move through Envoice and the bookkeeping itself runs in SmartAccounts, where you can see your numbers at any time.
Frequently asked questions
What is included in the monthly fee and what is agreed separately?
The monthly fee covers document processing, bank reconciliation, the VAT return, payroll for the agreed number of employees and day-to-day questions. The annual report, cleaning up earlier periods, project-based advisory and one-off large tasks are agreed separately.
How quickly can accounting be transferred from our current provider?
Usually within two to four weeks. A month or quarter end is fastest, when the previous period has been filed. If there are gaps in earlier records, that review comes first and we tell you upfront.
Which software do you work in?
Bookkeeping runs in SmartAccounts and the document flow in Envoice. Returns are filed through the Estonian Tax and Customs Board e-services. If you already use other software, we check whether it can stay or whether moving is more sensible.
Can I see my own numbers, and when?
Yes. You get your own access to the software and can check sales, costs and balances at any time. The monthly summary is ready once documents have arrived and returns have been filed.
Who handles my accounting?
One dedicated accountant whose name and direct contacts you know. They understand your business and answer questions themselves. A named substitute covers holidays and sick leave.
